Shegaon is a town in Buldhana district, Maharashtra, famous as the site of the samadhi of Sant Shri Gajanan Maharaj. The Gajananmaharajsansthan, established in 1908 by the saint's devotees, manages the temple complex, accommodation facilities, and social welfare activities.
The Sansthan is renowned for its discipline, cleanliness, and the warm hospitality extended to all pilgrims — regardless of caste or creed.

State highways connect Shegaon to Akola (65 km), Amravati (110 km), and Aurangabad (220 km). MSRTC buses run frequently from Akola and Nagpur.
